Who We Are
My brother and I have been starting businesses together since we were kids—ranging from garage sales, lawn care, commercial producers, gum ball machine distributors, to a middle school candy business and on and on.
The name behind our parent company, TOTB Threads, comes from a drawing our dad found under a floorboard years ago. It was a box-shaped character I’d sketched as a kid with the note "Think Outside the Box" next to it. He kept it for decades, and when we decided to start something new together, it felt like the right place to start.
As the idea got real, my wife joined the team. We spent months hunting for a name that could keep up with all three of us. Then we found the Tern. Golfers already know "the turn," that stretch between the front nine and the back where a round can fall apart or come together. Terns are built for exactly that kind of test: they fly farther than almost any bird alive, holding steady through whatever the route throws at them, adapting on the go instead of sticking to a plan. That's the game, too. Eighteen holes rarely go the way you draw them up. It was the bridge we'd been looking for.
We built Sunday Tern to be apparel that looks good on the course, at work and a night out - manufactured in Dallas Texas, all materials sourced in the USA.
